Today we'd like to tell you about the support we've been receiving for 6 months from the Eram Group's Albert Marie Endowment Fund and its commitment to responsible fashion.
The Eram Group
The Eram Group is a French footwear, clothing and accessories retail group founded in 1927. It is the founder of the ERAM footwear brand and today has more than 9 brands to its credit!
The group has been committed to a CSR approach for several years and in 2018 is taking a decisive turn, that of a sustainable transformation with the implementation of an innovative project: Change For Good.
The aim? To limit the impact of all its activities on the environment and promote virtuous economic models. By changing the way it produces and trades in order to achieve sustainable growth, the Group is committed to becoming a company recognised for its responsible performance.
Adapta was marked by a number of Group initiatives: the Oksigen project, the Sessile concept with repairable and recyclable trainers, the Group's participation in a citizens' consultation organised by Paris Good Fashion and, finally, by the genuine desire of employees to reinvent themselves and adopt responsible fashion.
To this end, and to support sustainable and responsible transition projects, the Group has created the Albert Marie endowment fund.

Unity is strenght
In October 2020, the Albert Marie Endowment Fund and the Eram Group chose to support Adapta for the first time in its eco-responsible sourcing of materials.
‘The Albert Marie Fund really fell in love with Adapta, for its values, for eco-design, for the reuse of materials and also obviously for the connection with our historic business, fashion.’ - Isabelle Desfontaines
A great collaboration
This donation has been used to finance a market study, to upgrade Adapta's website and to raise our profile through communication campaigns. And that's great!
But the Albert Marie fund has also offered us real operational support:
- A logistics operation thanks to Dresco for one of our Exclusive Sales.
- Methodological support on calculating the positive impact of our action with Oksigen.
- Finally, a forthcoming visit to La manufacture 49 belonging to the Eram group.
Thanks to the selection of the Albert Marie fund and the support of the Eram group, our team is more motivated than ever to supply high-volume brands.
What is the Albert Marie Endowment Fund?
Since February 2020, the Albert Marie endowment fund has been creating, supporting and financing responsible projects linked to the fashion industry, such as the Braderies Solidaires and Adapta.
Twice a year, employees, associations, brands and citizens can submit their project to the Board of Directors of the endowment fund.
To be selected and supported by the fund, these projects must meet several criteria:
- have a link with fashion and the Group's activities
- have an innovative aspect
- include sustainability, ecology and solidarity.
Through the Albert Marie Fund, the Eram Group supports projects to improve living conditions and promote the ecological transition. Recently, the Albert Marie fund helped to renovate a school in India.
